Hi, i noticed that the graphics that my ps2 is producing is not as good as my friend's. We are using the same tv but i noticed that the graphics are a bit blurr and not as sharp as my friend's....
when i watch those ps2 demos at shopping malls, i find that the image is sharper than mine...
does it have something to do with my video cable? do i need to get a new one?

I'd say so...Whenever my video cable is kind of loose....It looks like a POS. Whenever I got a new one it was fine though. Video cables all I can think of that would do something like that anyways.....

It's definately the video cables. Check to make sure they arn't loose and also try to just jiggle it around a bit.. I have a really crappy cable with me that produces wavey lines and blurry picture if I don't play with it.

I got my ps2 hooked up with monster s-video and it does make a significant difference over standard av and I won't even discuss RFU.

What about the options in the bios that will let you change the texture smoothness. How good do thoes work?

I think the texture and smoothness has to do with the psone/playstation.

Yep, that is the best choice for the PS2 picture on a compatible TV. Also a TV set technology can make the difference!
