PLEASE HELP!! new laser doesn't work!

so if i install this new laser correctly is should work?

if that's so, that sucks!
i don't know whats wrong than. it won't even read a cd or dvd, but the old one at least is recognized. than do you know what the problem is now? i just want this to be over!!

You absolutly need to cut the trace !!!!!!!!

make sure u installed it right 400c should work fine just hope u were grounded when u installed cause static kills lasers like nothing.

u should not have to cut anything send it back and buy the right laser cause once u cut it. its urs workin or not

yeah, prolly their plan to get you to cut the laser, so they can say "we can't take that back, you cut it for some reason"
