    hi i recently moved from england to florida and i brought my PAL ps2 as i wouldnt want to see my baby elsewhere...its a chipped with messiah 2 and i have all my games...i ordered a power converter...what else will i need to make this work on a ntsc TV?

    well u need a PAL to NTSC converter cause the TV in US is NTSC only except if u will bring ur UK tv with u to florida. And after that u r set to go

    ok but what if im playing ntsc games...wouldnt that work? cos the ntsc games give out a ntsc signal....then i wouldnt need a converter?

    well ur PS2 system is PAL so that will give out PAL signal. The game is NTSC which does not matter. It is the system that matters. Thats why when u get a game from Asia u need a multi region TV or buy a signal converter.

    you mean from the UK, right egyptian? I have plenty of Japan imports that run fine on my NTSC only TV. Japan uses NTSC, so does the US.
