The internet is a rumor world, the issue COULD be the "cell processor" and is not to find another processor alternative to the "PS3"...
internet is indeed a rumor world , and the inquirer is one of the worst gossip i've ever seen in this world , so ...
theinquirer.net isnt some kinky rumors posting site. Their info is quite solid.
0 really it is?
thats why this article starts with
"IT SEEMS" LOL![]()
IF it's a rumor or not...I'd beleive it. PS3 is suppose to be so complex, and so great that i'm sure they'll take longer if need be...I'm not really worried about it though. My ps2 is great, and I can play copies....Soon as ps3 comes out I doubt you'll be able to play any copies...Be surprised if you can even copy the damn games. I'd quit the playstation scene before i'd pay like 60 bucks for every game I buy (i'm sure the price will go up).
Yeah no kidding every report i have heard says the ps3 is hard drive only and you will have to "login" before you can play so even if you put something pirate on it I doubt sony would a. let you play or b. leave it on there for too long. And yeah $60 a game sucks one of my freinds still believes in paying for games....that I should pay for the games he wants to play, cheap bastard.
hd only severely limits the capabilities of a system. it would have to have a form of removable media. my bet is either dvd9 or possibly even ultra hi capacity cartriges. this one removable media available currently is about 1 inch by 1 inch and holds 500 megs. to top that, it sells for 10 bucks apiece.
damn sorry , u're right . my eyes read theinquirer.com , but my brain read theregister.com , who are quite often full of shit in their " report" ...Originally posted by Xeno-chan

how about the suggested retail price (of the ps3) at $500-$600?
