As in a vga box or a gfx card?
either a vga box or capture card i already have a very nice/expensive graphics card so a gfx card wouldnt be the best choice. I was hoping to get something internal as in the form of a pci card
i thought about getting a receiver with digital video out and hooking that up to my graphics card but i didnt want to spend the money and it took up a lot of space so i was hoping for some sort of internal solution which i could hook a video selector up to, also if it has a cable tv tuner and hardware mpeg2 encoder that would be a plus
Just go to best buy and grab the cheapest tv tuner you can find.
i have a nice tv tuner with built in hardware mpeg2 encoding... the picture quality is horrible and u get probably a 2-3 sec lag from controller to screen...
i just want known models that works good
If you want true quality, get a transcoder for your ps2. If youre not too concerned with it, then just use a basic tv tuner card.
I would recommend the transcoder route though.
any recommendations on the transcoder route?
check the thread for vga covertor
There is the xrgb2+ as well as some other third party devices. the xrgb+ is the best for the money.
