Playing DNAS games online with DMS3 in sleep?

I've seen a few random posts claiming that you can't play newer legitimate (aka bought copy) DNAS titles online even with DMS3 in sleep mode. Is this true? I sure hope not, cuz I'm thinking about getting a DMS3 but I wanna be able to play my NCAA Football 2004 online.

As far as I know...As long as you have the Original copy of the game, put the chip in sleep mode IT'll WORK NO MATTER WHAT. It can't detect your chip if it's off, and it doesn't detect a backup...simply because it's the ORIGINAL.
