Recently, my buddy sold me a copy of arc the lad twilight of the spirits for a few bucks, but turns out the stupid game is PAL (he has a multi-mode TV).

SO, I backed it up to an ISO, and tried bunches of pal-ntsc conversions, but none worked. the only one that did, ADR patcher, the screen was still way off center.
one other could patch the individual elf file correctly, but whenever I rebuilt the DVD it only ended up being 144 mbs, no matter what I tried.

Are there any good pal-ntsc programs that you know of?

If not, if there a game-specific pach for arc the lad pal-ntsc?

i use ps2 pal2ntsc yfix prog by the guy who made adr patcher. it works on every game that doesnt use encoding or compression (GT4P does) and the only problem is the res change <PAL is ghigher res, and the prog does not change res so the image gets clipped off>. although the screen is centered by default, you lose the top and bottom. usually fighting games make use of this and most status bars fit there so you just need to play with it or buy the 'real' game.
