Still, I chipped a PS2 v6 with that same Messiah homegrown showed us, and no there was no need for track cutting.

I know for a fact that some UK company got sued silly in late January / early Febuary 2002, on some copyright infringement, and they seemed to be the original Messiah developers. I also believe that after this, they may have sold or lost the technology to the far east. A few months the case was when homegrowns Messiah appeared, and all the non-swap mod-chips cames along after that.

My local library should have the records, and I'll double chech this case, next time I'm in there.
ive told you the uk companys that got prosecuted chan tech and neo tech the messiah tech was never sold or lost the it's still the original team this is 100% no if or buts it's the same code developers the only prosecution that took place was to stop the mod being distributed by chan tech.

    the developers were never touched.

however the code was used cloned if you like by a french associate hence the messiah 2.

and it's not what you know it's what people were made to believe

LOLz, A little modchip history lesson going on here, eh? So far I'm with EnTiTy. That's the lesson as I know it. The Neo 4 was the pry a capacitor off the board and you had to cut a BIOS track to install it. Thus if it were to be removed it would render your PS2 useless until the repairs were made.

The original Messiah supported pal V3 - V6 and then someone discovered after Sony had had their way with Gary from ChannelTech that it would support the NTSC V4 but not the NTSC V4 DC 1c's. I just happened to buy the GT3 V4 (35001) which supported every current modchip at the time. I paid $180 just for that chip, LOLz. Not bad considering I just removed it a couple weeks ago. I switched it to a DMS3 and I'm still sitting on the fence as to whether or not I'm going to put it back in since it works better in my V4 then the DMS does.

I still have the piggyback colour fix that foundmy.com had started selling to accomadate those of us that had the PS1 colour problem with this combination. Once the M2 was released the video wire fix started to suface on the net and became a much easier way to do the 'fix'.

You'll notice that the picture of the chip I have wasn't some of the very first one's because they had started pressing them off in sheets which was shortly after the lawsuit, but yeah, that was ChannelTech. I used live on their website. LOLz.

yeah your right the neo was the track cutting
I thought saving 15% on my car insurance was good but having my ps2 modded by N£TM£ÇH was way better!
