    Hey friends tell my that what is the option HDD games used for in OPL 0.8??

    i connect External HDD but it shows it as USB GAMES why????

    That's cause you can instal an internal HDD to PS2 but only to PS2 FAT since those have a slot for IDE HDD, you can also instal HDD on SLim below SCPH-7500 but that need's some hard moding the PS2 it's alot faster then USB or SMB.

    for an internal HDD you need a fat PS2 and a network adaptor. the network adaptor has the IDE connector and the interface for the HDD.
    an external HDD is connected through one of the USB ports which is why they will always show as USB.
    early slims cann have some hardware added to enable an internal HDD but you need to be good with a soldering iron and thats if you can find one of the kits...

    First Of All i m gonna tell you my ps2 is SLIM and Made after march 2008 (so no use of free mcboot) SCPH 90004
    so tell me how do i install an internal HDD in PS2 SLIM TO play game LIKE HDD

    Sorry, but with that PS2 model you can't use IDE HDDs.

    The only thing you could do is to play your games via SMB (streaming from your PC using a network cable). It's still slow compared to a IDE HDD, but considerably faster than USB.
