well..im trying to play area 51 online from Playstation 2 External Storage Device games Loader (PS2ESDL)
but im getting dnas 401 error
im playing it on a pal system 77004 but the game is of ntsc 50001
Q -1 - Does Playstation 2 External Storage Device games Loader (PS2ESDL) supports online gaming
Q - 2 - do i have to convert the game into pal
Q - 3 - how do i put original game id into image

1: Yes. For DNAS-enabled games, you have to install the game in the PS2ESDL format and enter the game's DNAS key into PS2DCDMP.
2: You cannot. But you can use the GS Mode Selector (GSM) instead to change the video signal to PAL. GSM can be found in the PS2 Homebrew sub-forum on this forum.

Please take note that I do not own any Playstation 2 games that are DNAS-enabled, hence I have never personally tested the DNAS functions in PS2ESDL.

The WinDIP-Method described on afterdawn/the thread you linked to, patches the DNASxxx.IMG-Files (the IOPRP-Similar IOP-Replacement-Images).
I'm not sure, if that would work...
I guess it might work better with the 'PS2ESDL-Filetype-Method'.
