Well... I tell you guys:
I have ESR 9 beta, and a friend tryed it at his house (but with my PS2, logicaly)...
Now I am trying to run Metal Gear Solid 3 at home, the ESR run the game, but there is a problem: It shows the grafics on black and white!! I know the problem isn't on my PS2 or my TV, because I can see the PS2 menu in colors before running the game...
I think it could be that the ESR is set on 60Hz grafics and my TV doesn't support that.. I'm thinking that because he tryed the patcher in a TV that does...
But I don't know why is that really caused, and how can I solve that!!
Please, help mee!
(please, forgive my bad English, I'm Spanish and... You know, only one in ten Spanish people can speak in English propperly)

What's really funny is that one in ten Americans can speak Engish with some level of correctness.

1. I wish some day i could be as lazy as you, but without making all the American people think "Oh, those Spanish..." hahahaha... Anyway... the only think you have to think is: ¿Cuántos americanos sabrían hablar en español en un foro sin que los demás pensaran "jajajaja, mira, un guiri"? -guiri: foreing person- lol
2. Yes, It smells a Pal version... ok. How do I solve it? :S

Look on SKSApps in the PS2APPS download section. browse through that until you see a program called
PAL2NTSC with Y fix. you patch the ISO with that. takes some experimentation so you'd do well to install the image to a hard drive and either run it via HDL or Open PS2 Loader (internal IDE, USB, or via network protocol SMB)

1)Download adr patcher:
http://rapidshare.com/files/13267342...patcher0_5.zip
Just save the link to your hard drive. Then, right click on it and select Open With-->Choose Program-->Winrar Archiver. Then click extract to and extract the files to your hard drive.
2)Run adr_patcher.exe
3)Click browse and select the iso file of the game
4)Select .PS2 PAL -> NTSC PATCH ROUTINE (NO Y POS)
5)Select Begin Search.
6)The program will search for locations to patch the game. When it finishes, patch the file.
7)Burn the patched .iso file
hopefully it'll work for you.

Thanks, Bootlegninja!!
I'll try it tomorrow (now it's 4:35 here in Cartagena-Spain)... And I'm now back from party... I've been drinking... But you've made my day anyway! (I've been trying to solve it by doing NOTHING RIGHT all day long, and I've wasted 4 DVDs...)
I'll tell you later, hope that's the right solution (I patched the ISO with the ESR disk patcher GUI v0.24a)
See ya!
