Noob needs advice - hdloader infinity matrix –
Hi all, I hope I'm posting in the right place and I hope there are still some active members on here.
I bought a hacked PS2 at the markets that has the network adaptor on the back. It works fine... it boots up HDLOADER and it's using Infinity Matrix ( I only learnt about all these terms on this website). In HDLOADER there is 1 game and it plays fine when selected. I was told more games can be installed to it.
*Note: The eject button was not working. I opened up the PS2 and found that the disc tray has been removed and there has been a few big blobs of glue put on the inside of the case to not allow the drive door to open.
This is all I know so far.
My question is: How do I install more games?
I have read so many forums and instructions but haven't worked it out yet. Any help on how to do it or just point me in the right direction will be appreciated.
I have a collection of games from an old PS2 that i'll like the kids to play.
There is an app that runs on pc called winhiip that you can format with and add content to the internal hdd
Also, if the console is booting hdloader from disc, try installing freemcboot to a memory card so it will just show up in the main menu along with ulaunchelf and ESR(which you don't really need since you have a chip).
Thanks gwillis for your response. The consoles disk is inactive. hdloader must have been already installed to the hdd. I've been trying to figure out how the person who put this machine together was installing to the hdd. I can rule out using disc as it is inactive. I'll read up on winhiip. Thanks again
