tutorial on installing Free MC Boot. Install the noobie package.
    http://freemcboot.info/

once that is done, rip your games with IMGBurn.
patch the ISO with one of the ESR patching utilities located in this thread:
    http://psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58441 (ESR - public beta)

burn the PATCHED ISO file using IMGBurn.

    Enjoy it.

Thats easy, just run the ESR pather app and in just a matter of seconds, its patched and ready to be burned!
    PS2 Consoles:
    SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
    SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
    SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
    SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded

I'm afraid you're oversimplifying it one step too far here, as that could cause a real noobie to just launch the patcher app and then burn the ISO to disc, without ever having told the patcher app to do anything with that ISO file... And that obviously won't work...

So we should always add that the patcher must also be explicitly told to patch the ISO, which for ffgriever's "ESR Disc Patcher" is easiest done as follows:

@sergiobryan: Here is what you need to do:

1: Open a Windows Explorer directory window showing the ISO file that needs patching.
2: Launch the "ESR Disc Patcher" so that its tiny window is also visibile on screen, beside the other window.
3: Use the mouse to pick up the ISO file and drop it onto the window of "ESR Disc Patcher".

This exact procedure can be used both for adding or removing an ESR patch, and in the latter case you will get an additional dialog box where you are asked to confirm the removal of an already existing patch.

Instead of this drag-drop method it is also possible to use the command buttons "Patch" and "Unpatch" at the bottom edge of the "ESR Disc Patcher" window, which brings up a fileselector where you can navigate to the ISO file and select it for patching/unpatching. But personally I always find the drag-drop method more convenient.

    Best regards: dlanor
