    Hi all,

I'm a total newb with a newly bought PS2. I had a member on here install FreeMCBoot for me and some apps, but I was wanting to do a little customisation of the menu etc.

is there an easy way where I can either connect a PS2 -> PS3 USB adapter to my PC and edit config files etc. on the PS2 memory card?

or is it possible to connect the PS2 -> PS3 USB adapter to my PS3 and then FTP the files to my PC, edit them and then copy them back?

or, is there an FTP server for the PS2, so I can FTP direct to the PS2 and edit what's on the memory card and/or internal HDD?

    thank you.

With 'unofficial LaunchELF' you can move files from MC to USB (and other devices) + you can start an FTP-Server and access your PS2 with an FTP-Client on PC.
Then there is RAD-Host-Client and the host-protocoll (as an alternative to FTP).

The config of FMCB is the 'FREEMCB.CNF' located in either 'SYS-CONF' on MC, or on the root of your USB-Drive.

...and yes, it is possible to access an MC from PC with one of these adapters (currently only the Sony-MC2USB-Adapter, afaik), but you don't need that... Just use a simple USB-Drive and move the file to it, using 'uLE'.
