This was given to me by my Clan leader. I believe he was a Beta tester for Socom 2. He states that there will be new downloadable maps on May 6th, which is next Thursday. So all we can do is wait and see. Lets hope so... Iam sick of waiting:mad:!

No way! Not till after E3. Sony will be announcing HDD upgrades and downloadable content. They may also talk about a Sony online network like xbox live.
I was in the SOCOM beta as well (along with 1000's) and beta testers don't have any inside info.
there have been all kinds of rumors about downloadable content. it sucks they havn't released anything yet... assholes.
I'm done playing socom 2 for the time being. there are way to many problems with it now, it alsomst like socom 1 now.
Hope that Sony Online Network could be FREE. O_o
But remember that before the HDD came out, Zipper INC. (In an interview) did state there would be downladable content after the Launch of the HDD. So there should be some maps soon. And the expansion pack or whatever will be out in Fall of this year. And I also did say this was just a rumor.

Zipper did say that, so I think we can expect a few "teaser" maps to get us to buy the expansion in the fall. I still think that we won't see ant new maps till after E3...buts thats just my opinion.Quote:
