About LinkBacksI have a moded ps2 with a magic v 56k chip with 120gb hd ...
I would like to know if it's possable to boot the ps2 directly from hd or mc without the need of the HDADVANCE or PS2OS cd's in the cd-rom drive?
I'd really just like to turn on the ps2 & have it Boot PS2 OS from my HD.
Anyone know if this is possable with my brand of mod chip?

10-27-2004,08:59 AMthe hdd forums will be open shortly. Just be patient until its back up and running. I give you serious credit, at least you searched, most people dont bother.
you either need a modchip that supports booting directly from mc/hdd or you need to use the exploit in order to run any of those apps directly from startup.
