The new paypal policy update about modchip

Hey everyone
Got an email from paypal about their new policy update. It says stuff about selling and buying modchips and anything pertaining the stuff relating to hacking consoles and backups are not allowed through their services. Check it out :-

Is this bad news. Can you please share your opinion on this matter and this there a solution to this.

This really sux. Looks like the console mfgrs sent PayPal some threatening letters. Too bad these companies don't stand up against them and say modding is legal, software piracy is not.

I looked through them (LINKS). take a look at the software link,scroll down to Sony, it says "all original sony games have a black bottom, anything else is a copy"!! Damn, EB and Wal-Mart,Toys-r-us-- you have been selling me bootleg games for years!!!!

This cracks me up... Paypal acting all ethical and stuff. Modchips aren't even illegal. Seems to me, they just want to be holier than thou... screw them... lost revenue for them!

Well, all we have to do is coming up with a secret code for modchip and backup

As of now, anybody that sell modchip using paypal will call them ''Frozen Lasagna''
And backup will be called ''Allanis Morissete's CD''

Looks like modchip distributers will now have to deal with a shitload of CODs from now on ehh?

Hows this really a big deal? In the subject lines, or anything that has to do with telling what i'm getting...I never put "modchip," or "copies", etc. Paypal doesn't know what your doing unless you tell them what your doing.
The only problem that I see AT ALL in this, if you got ripped off. Paypal would of course investigate why you got ripped off, and if they find out it was a modchip...Your SOL.
