New Network Adaptor Start-Up Disc

Got to love it. Hopefully $ony was just using it to truely test the connection and I doubt there looking for mods anyways. Atleast since the DNAS games i've seen haven't detected mod chips. But thats another story for another forum.

Yeah I have an older disc pm me.

P.S. also it looks like the newer games have added support to setup your network connection inside the game without the disc. If you wanna see boot up Madden 2005 and go to configure your network connection before you log online you can delete/create network connections etc.... from with in the game.

thats fair, but in my rebuttal, i DO own a network startup disk, so it actually really is just a backup..

Well, if you buy the hardware, you need the driver in order to use it. And drivers are public and for free. We want just the old drivers. Sony cannot put these drivers to download on our website because the PS2 protection scheme.

But worry not, I got the old disc already.

At last Sony should to put these old driver/disc to sell.

I have 3 original net setups, 2 of the old gray ones and the new yellow one, I could let one go, but since you really only need the thing the one time, maybe I could loan it out, you all can chain mail it amongst yourselves and eventually back to me (borrowing/loaning an original to another owner who's own does'nt work correctly for some reason does'nt violate anyone, does it??), it might be invaluable to me later, if Sony's "upgrading" software again.
Now I, on the other hand, would very much like it's Japanese equevelant.........
