Today I got a new Network Adaptor (for NTSC U/C), but surprise me, now is v2.0.
The disc and manual are labeled as "Network Adaptor Start-Up Disc v2.0".
What's the differences from old one ?

weird my NTSC disc doesn't have a version on it (that I can find) good question though, I would think it's some bug fix or minor compatibility issue for future games...maybe someone has the actual answer.

I've played with the new network adapter disk. And for somereason it connects to DNAS when your going threw the set up. Possibly to detect mod chips? Who knows.
yeah i got the new one too, and i was REALLY pissed off cause it dosent have FREQUENCY!.. so i cant play it online!.. anyways, it also connects to DNAS for every little thing, no idea why..
i bought a used one and it does not have the DNAS checking everything

My NTSC one does not contain any version labeling either,
I did do a backup on my start up disc (which does contain DNAS).
I assume the network adapters that were sold as a bundle are ver 1.
haha they're using DNAS on the new start up discs, that's sad, just try to obtain an older version of the disc

anyone up for a trade?
I installed tomorrow, and I confirm, it does use DNAS even on simple things like SETUP/CONFIG !!!![]()
Now I want that old setup version (1.0 or something). Anyway, just turn off your modchip before to startup the SETUP, this is what I do, and works well.

If you have the OLD version, please post on news.
TIA!
