New HD7 Lasers - Big problems

Tried this laser in 2 DMS3 installs, 2 M3.1 and one M2pro.

I've tried 2 brand new HD7 Lasers from new consoles, CDs work flawlessly, DVD-R work once in a blue moon and that's when I turn the gain down by quite a lot.

I've used different motherboards, different laser ribbons, burned a shitload of different media, aligned the sled and pitch of the rails - you name it I've done it.

Can anyone shed some light on this before I part it out?

yep, just can't seem to get them to read DVD-R

I have both of them 400C and R HD7.
Both are working ok. Good quality and low prices.

I'm not asking for a replacement laser.

BTW - your prices are way over the top.

$25 for a magic3.1? modchipman.com sell genuine 3.1s for $15 each
$70 for an R laser

Hi my prices are good I am selling R for 70 and this for one item, more then one is cheaper and magic 3.1 also. I am receiven my Magic V and thats will be cheaper to.
