I have a USB network adapter! It works well on some games and on others they say they cannot detect it (like GHOST RECON 2)! Any suggestions? Should I sell it and buy the actual real one? It works fine with my THUG and THPS games! Have not tried it yet with others besides GHOST RECON 2 and SOCOM! Is there like a code that I could put on my memory card so it would detect my USB network adapter and make it the default! It says I have to already have my network adapter configured so I was wondering if I could configure it to my USB network adapter instead but I don't know how I would do that unless I had a memory card net config file which was altered to my machine which I don't know the IP of anyways! Please help! Thanks!

No it is not official! But they did produce usb adapters (not mine) before the official NA came out (mainly for import japanese games that already had network adapter compatability)! Mine was produced after and it said the only non-compatible game is ATV off-road fury 2 so I really did not care! but do you know where I could look to see if there are any patches (a patch archive pursay)?

Although I Have never seen that usb network adaptort I do suspect it will not work with all new games.Have you ever got past the DNAS check with that adaptor??Try SOCOM you mentioned. They were produced before SOny had finalized their network and I think the best thing to do is buy an official one.It is not that expensive. But hurry since with the ps2twos they will become rare...

I don't know then. One thing that I do know is that will also have trouble in the CEntral Station registration since you need to input the adaptor ID.And many new games support only online through central station.I would still recommend to buy an official one since not many users have the usb sollution and I dont think there will ever be any interest in releasing a patch for this.

All I need is to have a network configuration file on my memory card! I have one for all my tony hawk games but I don't know how to get one for my other games like "Serious Sam" any suggestions! I think I can get this to work! Can I take the config file from THUG and rewrite it to be for Serious sam another GAMESPY powered game? What is the name of the sharkport/xport memory card save creator program?

Rent NFL2k3, there's a network configuratior on there.

And consider porting links or ellinks.
