hi, i have a JAP PS2, but a PAL NETWORK ADAPTER.. do i need to use NTSC or PAL games.
Assuming its PAL, would that be PAL retail games and PAL DVD backups.
I have a DMS, i hope it allows me to play all regions online
:)

I doubt the region of your network adapter will change the games u can play (wether they be NTSC or PAL) im sure they would all work. I would assume it depends on your TV, if u can run PAL and/or NTSC games on it.
I'm surprised you can plug the PAL adaptor into the Jap console at all... doesn't the Jap one only have PCMCIA, not the Dev9 port? Either way, yes, I agree with psxnomad, the NA should have no affect at all on what games you can play, that ability lies with the PS2 itself and whatever modchip you may have.
Only 10000, 15000 and 18000 have the PCMCIA adapter. The 30000 and ups have a connector like the rest of the units.Quote:

Thanks for the clarification :)
