Neo 2.2 modchip -- How can I play DVD-R's?

I'm using a neo 2.2 modchip with a gameshark (v1.3 -- it's very old)

How can I play DVD backups? I've read that I need Gameshark2 v1.7 or v1.9 to play them. I only have GS2 v1.3.

However, I can upgrade to Gameshark2 v3.0 -- Would that work?

...another option is that my local Gamestop is selling "Codebreaker" for PS2. I didn't see any version on it.

Will that work?

What should I get, or how could I get this to work with DVD backups?

i forget which version u need but u also beed a dvd with a high toc

You need something like the GS 1.9-2.x, I don't think v3 will work but I'm not sure.. FFX will work but Devil May Cry should work better..

You should save yourself the trouble and get yourself a no swap mod.
