NEEED an anwear quick

So i have got a friend that has go a ps2 with free mcboot 1.2 i think he's ps2 is fat mine is slim so will this work
1.I am going to write free mcboot on a DVD disk
2.Then i am going to get my memory card 8MB and put it in his ps2 memory slot 2
3.i am going to start the disk and install FMCB on memory card slot 2 (witch is my memory card) So i was thinking will it work ???

if he has FMCB that is able to run uLE then all you have to do is put the noobie package on a USB stick and use uLE to start the FMCB install prog. you can install to either card slot .the best way would be to do a multi install that way the new card will work on both consoles . if he has an old version 1.2 ? then do him a favour and install 1.8a for him as well .
