Need help on my PS2 slim

hi ppl. i juz bought a new ps2 slim which was modded. loading games wasn't a problem, but after about 15 mins or more, after resetting and reinserting the same or another game, the screen will juz shows "pls insert a ps or ps2 game". and i have to wait for a couple of mins before i can play the game(s) again. Is this a modchip or lens problem? any experts encounter such problems b4? many thanks

Will I am no Experts infact i am a newbie. but from what i have read i think it has someting to due with the chip that you have in the Ps2. What kind of chip do you have. Bad chips will cause the problem that you are having.

Totally, wrong! Sorry, but can you tell me the game name. Sometimes what happens isthe game is not made for ps2. Like I have a need for speed underground and it has the same problem and it doesn't work for ps2. But my other games are working perfectly. Can you tell me the game name and see the game cover and does it say Playstation 2 on it in the top? Sometimes the game takes time to load. what you do unplug the ps2. Then, after 2 minutes, just put it in. If it doesn't work, just give me a private message.
