Need help: Laser PS2!

Hello,

I have heared something about that the PS2 which has a -mod"chip- need a summon fix or a fix, but did the PS2 really need something like that??

What is the reason??

It´s a 50000 Ps2 console.

A normal console dont need it, right?

for V9 you need either to use summOne or Romeo fix.

A normal console dont need it, right?

if you mean not modded PS2 then yes it doesnot need .

it burn the laser in a short time while playing cds/dvds especially when you are using a poor quality media

for v9,v10 i think its Romeo mod
for v11,12 summOne or comsoft v4

fix(v9-this one; v10-this and so on...) ??

Regardless, if you wanna start backups from poor, or high-quality-DVDs.
It still stresses your laser more than usual, so it is worth to protect your laser and BA/LA-Controllerchip with this fix, if you want to use any burned media with it.

yeah i know it burn the laser for any kind of backup but i have heard it burns quicker when you use a bad media or poor one afaik

True, like in every other case where low-quality discs degrade the status of a PS2-Laser.

what laser fix is the best for a v9?
and what for v10 and v11??

did someone know how to install a laser fix in the console?
