Need Help if Possible

I have a flip top and swap discs for my American Ps2. The imports I have bought or otherwise (Naruto Narutimate Hero, Tales of Destiny 2, SNK vs Capcom: Chaos, etc) have worked just fine until now I recently imported/bought Xenosaga Freaks [Asian] and when I try to play the game with my swap discs and flip top and loads fien per usual, then gets to the title screen, but the only thing it lets me access is the options menu When I try to choose any option to play any aspect of the game itself, it will start to load, but then it just idles at a black screen I don't know why it does this and I've tried doing it repeatedly always getting the same result. All I can assume is its some sort of anti mod/swap disc protection? and if so can I make a backup of it and will this remove the supposed "protection"? Or would i need some sort of patch or something? Any help is appreciated! thanks!

Is Xenosaga freak on a dvd9? If so you need to slipt it and put it on 2 dvdrs or shrink it to fit it on a dvdr and then patch it, Also you might wanna get a hold of a cdloader and then double swap it first to see if you have any luck on it...........

I dont believe its DVD9, and anyways my ps2 reads DVD9 fine cuz it can run Xenosaga 1 fine What would I patch it with anyways? thnx!
