Is My La Chip Burned?
Is My La Chip Burned? –

First i switched a V10 board in to a V9 then the thing stoped working???
The laser just lights up quickly but with verry low light. I was so sure that it was the laser that was fried (KSH-400C) so i got a new V10 and tryed the laser on that(HD7). the first to times i tryede restarting, the laser light looked fine but then i tryede loading a game and now the laser light is low again.
IS MY LA CHIP DONE? or IS IT MY LB CHIP?
I think the lasers are still working.
I have 2 dead V10 now! Cant the drive from a V9 run with a V10??? The laser that was in both V10 was HD7 lasers and the one in the V9 was a 400C
sould i take it as a rule that when i try a 400C laser in a machine that was born with a HD7 laser then i will damage the LA og LB chip?

When swapping lasers over in consoles, you must use the same type as they are not compatable. I don't think you'd cause any damage, but never tried doing anything like that for obvious reasons, so no guarantees you haven't killed LA chip.
