To start, I'd replace the main fuse. It's designed to blow in order to prevent damage to other more-sensitive/more-expensive parts.
If you've found and removed the loose wires, hopefully the cause of the issue, then you should be safe to replace the fuse. Worst case is you blow another fuse... big deal. They're cheap.
I have used the very fuse you link to. Yes, the amps are .25 higher, but that's not a huge gap. If you can find anything closer, so much the better, but you'll be fine.
