Lately my dvd burner have been acting up. This started to happend after i got a bad batch of DVD blank -r medias, Got a new batch and it is working fine , It had never failed to burn a PS2 game backup ISO, but when ever i go try to burn a dvd data file the burning process just dies in the middle, laser off track. It failed three times alread and don't want to try another one just yet.

Is there a way to check the dvd burner to see if it's about the kick the bucket? Any software outthere that i can use?

why not try getting a different program to burn the data dvd. I use Dvd Decryptor for my backups. I got some problems with nero just like this when burning a audio cd. It kept failing and wasted around 10 cds thinking it was the cd. sometimes it was the file i was burning aswell.

no problem i think i have the program on here somewhere. [The file is in my post type thingy.] It works by going to mode and clickin iso read. [When having a ps2 game in the drive] [then go to iso write] [or if you already have the iso then just goto iso write] [I think you should be able to figure the rest out]

damn cant help you there. Uhhhh ill have to look around for another program i know Nero can do it but i dont think a free version of it will work. Try download.com they might have a free program for you.

this is just a search some programs may have limitations. Hope you find something to help you.
