most of verbatim dvd-r anymore

To clarify, my matrix infinity v1.99 chipped ps2 reads all type of medias all fine, in the last few weeks i was playing need for speed underground 2 with a mitsai dvd+r from a pack of 20 that was defective but only 4 or 5 was good and was 1 of those i burnt that game i was playing, after i got tired of nfsu2 and went to play fifa 13 with verbatim dvd-r media and it was oddly slow to pass the intro but i could get it started and play normal, after i insert all the others game burnt with the same fifa13 media verbatim dvd-r media and all the others doesnt read anymore, but others medias that is not verbatim works fine., before this all the medias worked fine on my ps2, inclusive i played them a lot before and played until the end tales of the abyss without problem, could that be because i played a game from one of those mitsai media and it kinda addicted the console or maybe could be that my ps2 lens are messed up with dirt and dust but if is that why all the others media work fine and only the verbatim media that work fine before do not work now? did i can explain my self good? lol sorry english is not my country language!

btw my ps2 is the slimy one, i don't know if is lens dirt since only verbatim doesn't read atm and all the games with that media were fine...

Had the same issues before,apparently the lens were messed up.

Recommend you playing your games from an HDD.

verbatim media allways work fine, all the ps2 games i burnt worked and now the only verbatim burnt game that works is the fifa 13, but all the others media dvdrs that is not verbatiim works and how i'm supposed to put a hdd in my ps2 aand play? did you think that clean the lens on my modded matrix infinity v1.99 ps2 will be fine??? plz help, i dont find explanation why all tthe games burnt in verbatim dvd-r that i play, one of them is tales of abyss that i played to the very end doesn't work anymore and i burnt a lot of games with verbatim dvvd--r, really a lot and the thing is, i pllayed them all the time but can't now, but is only verbatim typie of dvd-r, plz give me concret explanation why, help?

For me it was not a specific media that was not working so i can't figure what's your problem .....and to play games from hdd or directly from your pc via network you will need free mc boot ,an usb hdd(not needed if you play via network),and latest version of OPL.

Google both OPL and free mcboot for tutorials.

but how that works? you actually play in the playstation 2 all his games saved in the computer without needing a cd? o.O never thou that you can play the ps2 console like that :o

EDIT: ahh and btw i don't find those programs OPL and mcboot speaking about play directly from my pc via network? how is that possible, how my pc shows up in the open ps2 loader instead of the hdd??? ive to plug a cable in my pc to my ps2 right????
