Many of the times, yes.
well if it's not used then it should work
But considering the age of a v1 console, it has likely been used quite a bit.
hehe..i was in the same boat as u. I have a V1, and it was modded with a GAMESHARK required, chip. So i wanted to get the new Magic or Messiah. But everyone refused to do it. So, i posted an ad on a forum saying ps2 for sale, some guy in college needed one for dvd's and vice city. he tested it out, it worked....$280 later..new ps2!
everyone loves v1-v4 v9 lol
i want to mod my v4 but can antone tell me where i can find a diagrahm of the modding of the messiah pro? the ones i seen are telling me to jump a wire or two one the chip that cant be right.
