About LinkBacksIm sure this question has been asked hundreds of times but, which MOD CHIP is the one I should get.
Im not that savy with PS2's so I would need someone to explain what are the newest/best mod chips out on the market, and the differences in them. Installation isnt a problem as I will have a friend solder the chip for me.
The main uses I will be using the MOD CHIP is for "Backing" up Games....also please tell me what other uses MOD CHIPS are used for. Thanks

05-25-2003,07:55 PMMod chips are also used for playing imports. What version ps2 do you have? I personally wouldn't mod it if it is a v4 or less. Messiah 2 is an excellent mod to go with.

05-26-2003,07:57 AMthe best mod, with all the 'frills' is the dms3. its got some extra features like the dev.olution mode and macrovision removal, but if all you're going to use yer ps2 for is games, then go for a messiah 2; they've got the same capability as far as games, and the messiah 2 is cheaper because it doesnt have all the 'frills'

you can play those apps on the messiah 2 aswell, but off of cd, rather than the memory card.
