What does it mean. I have couple of PS2 consoles here.
I tried Simpsons Road Rage on them it booted on all machines expect one it came sound like tick, tack, tick, tack, tick, tack, tick...
what's wrong? why is that?

laser is bad probyl have to replace it
It's the media more than likely...I've had this happen to me before. Anyways it's really strange.
I got some games off this guy, and tested them-They all worked fine. Couple days later they started dieing on me, and kept making a scratching sound-They wouldn't boot anymore! I recopied them, and they worked fine. So, try some more games on different media.
BTW: The games that made the scratching sounds for me, worked fine on my nephew's ps2.
Its more likely a loose wire.
I got lots of original games, they don't work. The laser is not gone, this is a wire, but I will confirm it after couple of days.
