Memory card directory layout for keylauncher?
Hi there.
I made a post about things regarding this in another thread.. took a close look at where I posted and realised Id posted it in the wrong area.. my bad, apols..
OK.
Being the somewhat proud (and frustrated owner) of hdloader its dawning on me that to play around with *cough* homegrown apps and the likes that I really could do with a chip (out of the question) or swapmagic.
So, I know how to do the title.db file to make it boot with a psone game (this being keylauncher) and my only last option (and could be saving grace) is that I can run execftp from my ps2's hdd and see it on a network.
So, this leads me to my question (sorry if im waffling guv)
How is the keylauncher and it's files (including the filefolder with the apps in it) laid out as a DIR structure on the memory card?
Can someone link into theirs using exec and have a looky for me?
If so, can you post a screeny of the DIR layout here?
Is it possible to just FTP the files into the card in the correct places and it work like that?
Even better, if someone can *please* look at their card, ftp the stuff back they are running on it and send it to me in an email so i can attempt to duplicate the entire DIR structure?
I have a US ps2 and from what I hear it'd need to be a yank one to work ok...
Any help is appreciated, if you do have some bounty for me (sorry to be a beggar) then LMK and Ill pm my email over.
Oh, and its absolutely awesome to be able to come to a forum as a newbie and not get my arse rimmed by aload of self appointed twats, respect to the admin for the very polite and courteous emails after reggy too, much appreciated :)
