Couple people I know have corrupted memory cards. They can't load or save data using the card. Anyone know anything on this subject. Can the cards be salvaged, or would it be wise for them to pick up a new one!?
Thanks

the a program called MCkiller burn the image and it will re format the MC
All right, I downloaded MC Killer. I unzipped it and it had the following files: Bin File, Cue File and a Read me document. I didn't include the 'Read me' on the disk. So, I decided to burn it to a DVD-R.(Does it matter if it's a DVD-R, -RW, or a CD-R!?)
I didn't know what disk I should of created, I went with a 'Data disk.' Would a DVD Video or burning a image to a disk have been the correct choice? Anything else I should know?
When I insert the disk into the PS2, will I have any control over it, or does it automatically take over?
Thanks
PS. The PS2 and memory card I'm trying it on right now has no corrupt data, will that change the way the disk operates?
use Nero to burn it as an image file (that's what a bin/cue is) to a CD.. you'll need a swap trick or modchip to load the CD.
All right, I selected 'burn image to disk' and it would only let me copy the 'cue file' and not the 'bin file?'
I inserted the CD into the PS2 and it loaded, I received this message: "Please be sure to backup your saves. Formatting your memory card cannot be undone!" Press start to begin........Then formatting complete.
The card that is messed up, I received a 'formatting failed' message.
When I go into the browser with no disk in the PS2, I get a 'No data' message!?
Sounds like the card is fudged.. Time for a new one :\
lol
)Haha, that's fine. So the program is working fine? It automatically take's care of eveything?
corrupt memory card? sounds a bit like mine
