Has anyone an opinion on the Memor32 Advanced USB PS2 Memory Card? Can it be used for soft modding the newest USA PS2 models?

Any "exploit" base on OSD Update cannot be used on fw 2.30 and above (FMCB, M32 (with memento fw), M+, chinese AR3/AR4 etc.). It's completly impossible.

Does my 90001 PS2 have fw 2.30 or above? What's possible if modded memcards won't work?

About the only thing with that you can do is get SwapMagic or a Mod chip to exploit it Sony removed the ability with that model to update from Memory Card so that is all that is left for that model now

If she's produced after march 2010, probably have 2.30. Check datacode on sticker.
