The AR Max Memory Manager doesnt work as an elf {at least i havent gotten it to work}, only the MemPlus 64 Manager does.
You could install the AR Max EVO ISO to HDD & run with HDL, but it is known to randomly freeze, so its a50-50 chance of success using it from HDL.

or u can just dump AR MAX EVO to pc, then zero out the dummy files, rebuild the iso and install on hdloader. or is this not what u mean?
u can even remove all the crap u don't want from armax(keeping the necessary files for MAXMEM of course), relink the system.cnf to maxmem.elf(move to cd root, found in MEMRES folder). This method has been working for me since armax was released. The onlt thing I've noticed was the max media player has a very high pitch feedback like sound the minute u launch it
I would have to assume this isnt something you would be willing to share ... sounds like im gonna have to buy another damn card ... thats gonna hurt in the morning.
And no, I'm going more for a stand alone elf more or less as I do most of the assisting with this kind of stuff in the local area ... It would be a serious pain in the ass to have to use hdloader every time I have to reformat an f'ed up odd sized card. It was a pain in the ass before when I had to use a disc. I'm looking for a way out from under it and apparently buying something is the only way to get what I need Datel already has an assload of my money. They do make some goos stuff though.
Ok, I'm a dumbass for not noticing that the file was distributed with the first release of the mcboot project. Does anyone have an NTSC version of this file?
You can find all you need here to run the elf in NTSC.

Hey jnabk, I have read up on that blog and the tutorial someone posted. I can get the loader to run and boot the manager but it always boots in PAL mode, always. and I can't even get the third Loader with NTSC patching to run. Any help would be great.
My current setup:
BESLES-00000 MP:
/EXECUTE1.ELF (MPLUS MANAGER)
/MPLUS-LOADER.ELF (LOADER WITH NTSC PATCH)
/RUNME.ELF (MCBOOT 1.2C RUNME)
/... ICONS AND UNINSTALL
Basically I set it up to boot to ulaunch and if I want to run the manager, just browse to it on the memory card and run it. It boots correctly except for the lack of NTSC patching.

Rename MPLUS-LOADER2.ELF to RUNME1.ELF
Rename MPLUS-LOADER2-NTSC.ELF to RUNME2.ELF
Rename uLaunchelf to EXECUTE1.ELF
copy these to the BESLES-00000 MP folder
Boot the MC in slot2 to run the MemManagerPlus app in NTSC mode.
Boot the MC in slot1 to run uLaunchelf.
Dont have anything with the name EXECUTE2.ELF on USB/MC or that app will boot instead of the NTSC fix.
The MPLUS-LOADER2-NTSC.ELF is just a patch that forces the RUNME.ELF to run in NTSC mode.
