Magic 3.6 - no PS1 and DVD playback.

I followed the instructions for how to use the chip... I dont have any ps2backups to try, but the machine does work with original ps2 games...

I turn on the power switch on the back, and then put it into standby by holding down the reset button. Then when i hold the reset button to put it into ps1 mode, the blue light on the eject button comes on immediately. I release it then but it will not play any ps1 backups or original dvd movies!

It just goes to the browser screen. When i click browse, it says no data, and cant read the disks...

At this point, the machine only works with the original ps2 games i have bought. I wish I had a ps2 backup to try in it, but ps1 games and store bough dvd movies wont work!
