You booting right? Hold reset until the blue eject light comes on.
thats what i do, but it still doesnt play the psx game
if your sure the game works fine check your s wire .
I just rechecked all the connections they are all good. but i still have the same problem, psx backups dont work, psx do, ps2 backups only boot when the disk is in and you start up the system, but it doesnt work from browser.
magic 3.1 does not boot from browser , it requires 1 tap of the rest button to boot ps2 games
well that solves that problem, but i still cant get psx backups to go
put the ps1 game in , close the tray . put the system in standby . power back up by holding the reset button in for 2sec , (no longer) . it will boot . if not either your games dont work or the s wire is not on good enough . thats all you can do ..
I cant seem to find anything wrong with the s wire, so I ask would it helped if I doubled up or used a larger wire to connect it?
it probably wouldnt hurt, but you shouldnt need to do that at all.
you say you've checked the solder point, but have you actually tried re-soldering it?
