does anyone know if the V7 with Magic 3.1 will play dvd copy's?

i have 3.1 installed and no problems in playing games and dvd's copies...i have 2 backups....and works perfectly

for some reason mine will not play any copied DVD

I triied several different DVD copies and I get red screen on them all.

if the chip is installed properly, it's either your media or your laser.

although some people swear up and down that magic 3.1's dont boot dvds reliably, when for everyone i know personally, it's maybe 1 out of 50 boots(if that) that you have to hit the reset button a second time.

magic 3.1 is very reliable...hey...why pay $75 for a chip to boot from the browser and all that when u can get a $25 chip (magic 3.1) that needs 1 tap...it does play all the games u guys say that it doesnt play....it plays everything....on my ps2 tho....

magic 3.1 is good and i am not a hardcore gamer so i dont think it is worth it to spend lots of money on a chip that i know i wont play with it a lot...even tho i am a hardcore PS2 lover...

indeed seems alot of people are confusing magic 3 which had problems playing certain game's the 3.1 corrected this.

I can play any game except the DVD copies...don't think it is the copies because I have tried 7 different copies..

it is not the copies indeed...its the way ur magic is installed....maybe a loose wire...maybe a wire installed in the wrong place...maybe ur laser is RIP....u never know...

magic 3.1 works for some but for the most part it takes magic for that chip to work if you want a cheap chip get the duo magic sucks. unless your david cooperfield
