Logitech wireless controller
I just purchased a pair of Logitech wireless controllers (Logitech part # 963320-0403) from amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...onics&n=507846
Does anyone have these already? Since these things use 2.4ghz technology, I wonder if these will interfere with our 2.4ghz phones and most importantly, our home WiFi network. Our phones interfere with our WiFi, I just hope these won't.
I bought it cuz my old infra-red based controllers stopped working and amazon.com priced the Logitechs at $30.99 each with free shipping and no tax. They also have a $30 off promo for signing up to their Amazon credit card, in which you can apply the discount on the purchase. So all in all, I got a pair for $31.98 shipped.
Ebay sells these things for more...and some are selling the old Logitech wireless controllers (Logitech part #963262-0403). These old controllers are larger in size, require 4 AA batteries, and the receiver has a long wire, while the new ones are smaller in size, no wires at all, have greater distance, and require only 2 AA batteries while maintaining the same 50+ hour gaming usage per set of batteries w/ vibration turned on and 300+ hours w/o vibration.
A little sidenote...I do not work for amazon.com...I just thought of sharing the above info for those looking into getting these controllers for a great price.
I just finished reading another review of the controllers...the reviewer verified that these don't interfere with WiFi networks. (sigh of relief!)
