Loading special memory cards
Loading special memory cards –
Is way that I can get my ar2 memory card to load automatically with the memory card exploit? It looks like ps2menu-k automatiaclly loads modules when it starts up, can I add it to that if the module exists?
well, if its a memory card, then you should be able to install the exploit to it just like an official memory card.
although i am strongly against using any 3rd party hardware.. controllers, memory cards, multi-taps, controller extensions.. the only 3rd party hardware i do endorese is hdd's.
Actually, I think that only the official sony 8mb memory card will work with the exploit
nope, i dont have the sony MC, and the exploit works for me.
The only thing you need to get the exploit on the ar2 card is to figure out a way to format it as a MC. (That can be seen in the browser and games can save to)
I have a 3rd party memory card that I use to load the exploit, but that's not what I'm talking about here. I also have a second memory card, the one that came with action replay. I want it to load automatically so I can use it as a normal memory card (usually you have to load action replay first to use it).
no, it wont work. the third party cards some of you are speaking of are officially licensed cards. The datel cards are not and so they require the disc every time they are to be used.
Now my question for you s00pcan is why do you feel the need to post the same topic in two different forums?
When another forum member told me special memory cards could be automatically loaded with a dms3 chip it gave me a separate idea to see if this could be done without a modchip.
The original thread was about about an idea to keep things loaded into the memory while loading other games that I got from thinking about how the special memory cards are loaded.
Obviously not the same topic. I understand you don't want the forums cluttered with topics, but it would be really bad if people are scared to start new topics.
