About LinkBacksi have just received two v5 lasers and tryed both of them in the ps2
the laser is making about 8 clicking noises the disc spins about 3 times slowly
then stops and after about a minute it speeds up to a high speed
and i was wondering what the problem could be
any ideas also a v 4 working mobo needed in the uk
dont forget i have a lot of ps2 bits
just ask trading welcome

yes the lasers are 400c v5 i think
and i have also tryed 5 other 400c and they all do the same thing

11-14-2004,05:56 PMThe V5s used Sanyo lasers too so if it had a Sanyo HD7 in then you'll have to get another one of those cos the Sony ones like you have aren't compatible.
