laser hight

hey I know this is asking alot but i changed the hight of my laser and it didnt improve anything...ive also orederd a new laser and im wondering if anyone could tell me what the orignal hight is...aka how many clicks from the flat spot on the gear thing

Put the small hole in the white wheel on the left.
Make this your starting point.
When it doesn't work, make 2 clicks counter clockwise, test it and repeat if necessary.
If it, lets say, after 10 clicks still doesn't work, go back to your starting point and try clicking clockwise.
