Laser exchange V3-V11 with/without lenschanger, what's possible ?

I know that V3/V4 contain B-lasers
I know that V5-V11 contain C or R(HD7) lasers.

I would like to know:

1) Can all B lasers be replaced by C lasers without using lenschanger ?
2) Can C lasers be replaced by B lasers ? Do I need to use lenschanger ?
3) Can HD7(R) lasers be replaced by B lasers ? Do I need to use lenschanger ?
4) Which laser are better, B-lasers or HD7(R)-lasers ?

c and b can interchange.

b are a bit bigger than c.

hd7 can only if u use the changer

hd7 definitly

on certain v5s u can chagne hd7 or c via swithcign a resistor

I have heart from someone:

"400b, 400c and 400r use different light
emitters that send different signals. Therefore you can not inter
change the different wafers with different lasers. You can
interchange them, but the life of the laser will not last more then
one month."

So it seems like you always have to use lenschanger.

I have changed many 400b with 400c and not had to use lenschanger.
I have changed 400r with 400c and had to use lenschanger.
Havent had to change a HD7 yet so not sure what interchanges with those
