    Hope someone can help or point me in the right direction..Here is my dilema :

    I have a Magic 3.1 modchip installed and

    SO i am thinking it had something to do with the usb headset...since everything worked great b4 i plugged that in...A friend thinks that it could be something to do with the modchip and usb headset drawing power from the same source and something went arry from there..any help would be great..thanks all

    BA58 or BA66 Chip burn out, I can't be absolutely sure but I had those symptoms, best to send your ps2 to a professional for chip replacements.
