As some of you know I had a bad computer crash back in december, which forced me to upgrade to a brand new computer which took some time to get to the point where I could again take up continued support and development of the PS2 homebrew projects I'm involved in.
Unfortunately a similar thing has happened again, though not affecting the entire computer system this time. But it is bad enough when the 1.5 TB HDD I used both for booting and for all PS2Dev work as well as all emulation work suddenly decides to pack it in...
I've lost my normal boot setup and all PS2Dev libs and work environment, as well as all VMware setups I could otherwise have used temporarily for PS2Dev work. The replacement HDD I am now using to boot from is much too small for serious work, so I won't be doing much of that until I have been able to replace the big HDD that died on me.
It was still under warranty (less than 2.5 months old), so I should get a new replacement cost-free, but I'm not sure when I will have it, and even less sure when I'll have it back in shape (installation-wise) corresponding to the one that died.
So for the time being my PS2Dev work is on hold, indefinitely...
