Issue installing homebrew with AR max-ps1 exploit

I've got everything set up to install it, the exploit save is transferred to my PS2 memory card with all the files I want to install. The issue I'm having is that my PS1 games wont load from my PS2 memory card.

My console version is SCPH-30001

Any ideas?

I am not sure what tutorial you followed. Might help.

Make sure you named your TITLE.DB ID in the proper format.

Not all PS1 make a good Trigger disc.

Also does your PS2 have any problems reading PS1 games normally?
