Interlacing on an LCD –
I have my PS2 hooked up to a widescreen HD LCD. Looks great when using progressive scan, but SOME interlaced modes look awful. ICO and Sly 2 are so blurry as to be almost unplayed, but God of War in 480i looks great (and even better if I turn on progressive scan). Anyone have any idea why only some games in 480i look bad, and what can be done to fix it ? Could it be a PAL/NTSC issue? I know my LCD supports both, but perhaps it has something to do with refresh rates?
Is there a device that can de-interlace HD component video in real-time?
Any help would be much appreciated, TIA.
